
Dr. Kenneth L. FriendlyA native of Youngstown, Ohio, Kenneth Friendly was ordained into the ministry in 1988. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, he founded Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Anchorage, Alaska in 1994 with six members. Today this non-denominational, multi-cultural church serves a membership with over 1100 in weekly attendance.
Among the many ministry operations that serve this thriving congregation are the Safe Haven Child Care and Education Center, the "Harbor" a full service Cafe, and B.O.S.S., a 20-week Christ-centered after-school success and entrepreneur program for youth.
Dr. Friendly is an anointed teacher of the Word with the ability to communicate its principles in the simplest form. He is known for his inspiring message of victory and faith, as well as his accurate and entertaining illustrations from the Bible. He teaches the uncompromising Word of God with power, authority, and love, which delivers the message directly into the hearts of the people.
Dr. Friendly has an extensive teaching tape ministry with thousands of tapes distributed around the world. He ministers the Word across America and internationally. His half-hour television and radio outreach program, "IMPACT" airs five times a week reaching the entire state of Alaska, along with the "Minute of Impact" which is televised daily.
A 21-year Air Force veteran, Dr. Friendly and his wife, Deb, were married in 1980 and are parents to one son.
